with a plot that kept this adult reading until the end. Although the first half was a little slow (mostly high school life and teenage angst), the second half had good action.

The author has an easy writing style that will appeal to YA readers. As an adult, I am impressed with some aspects --namely the occasional moralistic scenes. Once there was a warning against using phones while driving. And the Hero and Heroine are NOT having sexual relations yet. But as often as not, something else catches my attention (like lies and the willingness to kill criminals and ugly alien species) that makes me scratch my head.

The dialogue is a little over the top for me sometimes, and there should be some further editing and a LOT less exclamation points (!) ending the sentences, as that is very distracting for an adult. Maybe a YA wouldn't mind as much.

Not a bad series overall, especially for the younger reader. For me, it was OK. I'm not sure that I'll continue the series, but am not sorry that I read these first two books.

Insight is the continuation of Seth and Julie's story. Seth has gone back home for a few months, and Julie has to go back to high school. They keep in touch, but can't wait for the days to pass so they can see each other again for the Christmas holidays. Soon enough, Seth is back on Earth, and he and Julie have another grand adventure.

I absolutely refuse to spoil this story by giving too much away, so I will stop here. )

My thoughts

Wow! I loved this book as much as Intwine. Seth and Julie's relationship became more serious, and I liked the love and dedication that they have towards each other. I also really liked getting to know more about their day-to-day lives, and the people they interact with on their respective worlds.

I think that the descriptions of the alien cultures and advanced technologies were very well done and creative in Insight. All of it was well-explained, and it was interesting to read about.

There was lots of action and romance in this book, and some of the things that happened were nail-biting. I didn't know what would happen next, and that made reading the book more fun.

I hope book 3 - Incircle will be out soon. The sneak peek at the end of Insight was very attention grabbing, and I am anxious to see how it all turns out!
Internet is a delightful, romantic story full of intergalactic adventure....a great tale for young or old. I'm looking forward to the next episode!
This is definitely a YA novel. I'm not huge into alien stories but I found my self liking this series. I'm going to be sticking with the series to find out what happens in the end.
I couldn't put it down. The characters were delightful and the suspended reality was great fun. Top notch writing style.
Just finished the first two books of this trilogy which were obtained through free promotional offers and the lending library. However I just purchased book 3, Incircle, without hesitation. I have to finish this story! I will most likely go ahead an purchase book 2, Intwine, at some point so I have it in my library.
Really enjoyed the writing technique. Made the story line easy to follow and enjoyable. Always liked sci-fi stories and this one was different enough to make it very entertaining. Liked it enough to get the follow-on book also.
Wow! If I am this excited about this book now at 63, how would my 15 year old self react to this book? I think I would have been screaming up and down the streets and yelling about it!

This is the sci-fi I needed back then. This is strong fem, planet-hopping, space-shippy sci-fi! Okay, there is a little romance thrown in but it helps with the story line and to help you get to know all the characters better and even care for the guy.

I wish I could afford the next of the books right now. The blurb added to this book shows it is written from another point of view, one I have a curiosity about. I may just forego something else in my meager funds of the moment and jump at it.

I will read these again and again. These books are that much fun!
