Rhea Rose's stories are a dark sampler of fantasy, science fiction, horror, and magic realism. Be aware that these stories often feature children, but I would not let my children read them. But if you like a little weird scariness the stories are really a good read. Rose's universe can be a strange place. I like the one where a surfboard becomes a smart shark, and I like the one where bigfoot gets a skateboarder. Some verge on creepy horror like when one mom spins webs and another reads picture books - for blood. I kind of like the way the poetry fits in with the stories too--it makes a nice combination.Product details
