Night Game GhostWalkers Book 3 Christine Feehan Books
If you’re reading the books in order like I am then Gator was one of the ones you’ve been very excited about. The Cajun smooth-talker finally gets his book.Gator has to be one of my favorite Ghostwalkers but his book did run a little long and with them finding out the same information separately, it was just a tad bit more repetitive than usual. Because of that, I gave it four stars instead of five.
I don’t know how many times I’ve read this book but I just noticed a typo a little more than halfway through the book. Maybe it’s because I was actually looking for typos? I mean, it’s what I’ve been doing since I started my blog and reviewing books.
It’s still difficult for me to properly review these books but I think I’m getting the hang of it. I’m trying to look at them like it’s the first time I’m reading them but, I still know I’m going to love them.
Usually, a side story like Joy’s would be overwhelming but, with how long the book was, it kept it from getting boring, especially with Wyatt and Ian. This is one of the few authors that can really write good side characters that help the story move along instead of being overwhelming and taking over or being completely forgettable.
It helps keep the readers interested and excited for their books, although the next book is about Jack Norton and we won’t get back to the Army Ghostwalkers for a good bit.
The ending almost wasn’t a happy one and that was a big risk that could have ruined the book but, it was emotional and making me tear up while keeping me turning the pages to get that happy ending.

Night Game GhostWalkers Book 3 Christine Feehan Books Reviews
This book is part of a series that I am reading ... Christine Feehan, Ghostwalker Series. The book is fast paced, has lots of suspense, and is full of romance, Although it is part of a series, each of the books within the series can be read alone but, if you like this one, you will love the others in the series! I couldn't put it down. Additionally, I purchased the book used and it was in great shape.
It really needed a good editor. At least 100 pages could have been trimmed and it would have left a much tighter, faster moving story.
Christine Feehan is unequivocally positively brilliant with creating her paranormal military "Ghostwalkers Series" and NIGHT GAME is powerful! The story is the third sequel and continues the saga of Dr. Peter Whitney's obsessive determination to create and perfect the "perfect lethal soldier". Night Game is power packed with action - that will curl your hair, military intrigue beyond your imagination, secret military weapons, genetic experimentation, kidnapping and the hottest most erotic love story you could imagine.
Dr. Lily Whitney-Miller is Dr. Peter Whitney's daughter - or so she understood for years until she exposed the secreted concealed lab in the basement level of their palatial mansion. Then her Father was murdered. Lily is working nonstop to provide the Ghostwalkers with exercises and skills to combat the consequences of her Fathers experiments of removing the brain's natural filters. They have headaches, nose bleeds and in some cases strokes. She is determined to design exercises that will help restore some of the brains ability to protect itself. The girls have some the same side effects and some of them worse. She also found the research that her Father experimented on Iris" Flame" Johnson with cancer. Whitney was concerned that genetic enhancing the men would could cancer so he experimented on Flame.
Lily has discovered that her brilliant Father purchased several little girls with psychic abilities from foreign countries and performed experiments on them removing their brain filters and enhancing each of them with his maniacal egocentric obsession to create the perfect lethal soldier. She knows now that she is not his biological daughter but one of "the little girls" that he purchased and experimented on. Lily struggles with the knowledge that her Father was a genius and exceeded the results of any other research on the planet but she is torn because he was and is guilty of crimes against humanity. She is driven now to find all of the girls, now women, and rescue them and provide some comfort and support for them. Little does Lily know - but she is in for more surprises that she could possibly imagine.
Raoul "Gator" Fontenot is a brilliant dangerous genetically enhanced trained soldier but all the training in the world may not help him on this mission. His Grandmother "Grand-mere" Nonny Fontenot has begged him to come home to the bayou to help find one of the family's dearest friends that has gone missing. Joy Chiasson is a young beautiful woman that has a beautiful sultry voice and has gone missing throwing everyone into a frantic search to find her with no results. Gator loves his Grand Mere Nonie and heads to the bayou to join his 3 brothers in the search for Joy.
After four weeks of searching Gator hasn't found Joy - B U T - he spots a woman at the gas station that strikes a note. He can't believe that he may have stumbled upon the missing Iris "Flame" Johnson - one of the missing girls. She is breath-taking beautiful wearing a skin tight black pair of pants that reveals the "flame" tattoo on her hip. Her hair is thick and red peeking out under the helmet and the motorcycle that she is riding is spectacular. Flame believes that Dr. Peter Whitney is still alive and still experimenting on people and orchestrating "military field exercises" perfecting the perfect lethal soldier.
Gator follows Flame and observes her scaling the wall at Kurt Saunders guarded gated house and waits for her to return leaning lazily on her spectacular souped up motorcycle. Gator recognizes the power that a Ghostwalker exudes and he knows that HE may be in trouble with this red headed powerful woman.
Get comfortable. Be prepared to read this story from start to finish in one setting. The only way this series could be better is to buy the audiobooks and listen to Tom Stechschulte's rich, enthusiastic and talented voice brings the story to a new level!
Gator was born and raised in the Louisiana bayou and when his family asks him to help find a missing family friend his ghostwriter team uncovers dirty secrets. Dr Lilly asks him to find Flame, another kidnapped girl her father experimented on, whom she believed was also in the area. Both Gator and Lilly have similar talents but treachery is conspiring against them. Can Flame learn to trust and love? Can Gator capture her heart and Flame? This third installment has twists and turns you will love and you won't be able to stop reading and moving on to the next book.
It is so very sad when an excellent writer feels he/she must add blantant sex scene's (you can go to and adult book store if you need sex books), in order to expand their audience. There was such a good story here, why ruin it by talking about a dripping shaft and other sexual phenomena. If the writer had put in the romance and left out the more than VIVID sex scene's this would have been a 5 star book. As it is I can't donate this book to a library where a person under 18 could read it. So I wasted my money and have to throw the book in the trash. What a great story to bad it was ruined
